Colin Fassnidge joins My Kitchen Rules

Irish chef and one-time Gordon Ramsay protege Colin Fassnidge will join Seven's My Kitchen Rules.

One-time Gordon Ramsay protege Colin Fassnidge will join Pete Evans and Manu Feildel on Seven’s My Kitchen Rules.

The Dublin born chef who runs Sydney restaurant 4/Fourteen said, “If I’m judging a dish and it’s no good, I’ll say that. That’s what I’m there for. I’m interested in seeing contestants develop and improve.

“There’s no point in sugar-coating everything. That’s not going to help anyone.”

MKR executive producer Rikkie Proost says Fassnidge will bring “a unique flavour to the MKR menu.”

He has previously appeared on MasterChef.

The announcement follows Matt Moran announcing he is walking away from MasterChef, to focus on his restaurants and pursue new opportunities. But other media reports are already speculating about why he was not involved much during the last season.
