Nine’s two branded entertainment specials with its former ACP magazine, Women’s Weekly, are coming to Sundays.

With summer just around the corner, Channel Nine and the Australian Women’s Weekly are uniting to make your 2012 festivities the best yet with two specials to kick-start the holiday season.

Hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski and featuring a range of celebrity guests, the first of these summer and Christmas specials goes to air on Sunday, November 25, at 6.30pm: Summer with the Australian Women’s Weekly.

Gyton Grantley, star of House Husbands, joins Julie Goodwin to create the ultimate BBQ feast while Jamie Durie throws together a DIY outdoor lounge perfect for enjoying the warm weather.

The stylish Jesinta Campbell reveals summer’s hottest fashions, gardening guru Jackie French makes a fun and functional scarecrow for the yard, while Brad and Lara from The Block 2012 take on a new challenge – and this time they’re competing against each other.

The Today show’s Karl Stefanovic, Richard Wilkins, Georgie Gardner and Cameron Williams join in an alfresco feast that will tempt the tastebuds, and viewers will be treated to an acoustic performance by Timomatic.

In Christmas with the Australian Women’s Weekly, the second special on Sunday, December 9, at 6.30pm, we get into the spirit of Christmas with a joyful how-to guide for the festive season.

Legendary foodie Maggie Beer and comedian Julia Morris prepare the perfect Christmas goose as Jaynie Seal overhauls the decoration box to create a modern and stylish tree on a budget.

Celebrity chef Luke Mangan creates a seafood spectacular, Giaan Rooney has some crafty ideas for bringing lashings of cheer to your home, and Jamie Durie builds a backyard teepee full of fun for children young and old.

Plus we travel to Darwin with Jessica Mauboy as she celebrates the holiday season at home with family and friends.
