  1. All the matters is the result in half a dozen states.

How many hours of nonsense will they churn out to convey less than a byte of actual information?

  2. @Daniel

Ten not showing any election coverage is part of their policy to provide something different for those who are not interested in the US election.

  3. Hi David,

Fox News (Channel 604 on Foxtel) are also covering the election. Their election coverage is scheduled for 10am-6pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time. I intend on having that as my main viewing while flicking through the free to air channels on another TV set.

It is nice to see so much choice on Australian TV for this election. It is funny though that 7mate will still be screening an hours-old episode of NBC Today when their live coverage starts on 7two. I’m not a fan of NBC News, but I hope Seven use NBC some of the time because Chris Reason chatting with Mike Amor and staring at maps and numbers for hours could be quite tedious.

  4. I think Seven’s use of 7Two for longer election coverage is a great move … but “Chris Reason live from Melbourne” seems strange, why not just let the American hosts lead the coverage.

    CNN’s 28hr coverage seems overkill
