Farewell Stephanie Forrester

This Monday marks the last ever episode of The Bold and the Beautiful for Stephanie Forrester after almost 26 years.

This Monday marks the last ever episode of The Bold and the Beautiful for Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) after almost 26 years.

The character of Stephanie Forrester has been battling lung cancer for some time now.

Recently, audiences watched as she learned her lung cancer had returned. Despite the desperate pleas of her family and friends, Stephanie refused to accept treatment opting instead to enjoy her final days and go out in style. After a fabulous party surrounded by her loved ones, she retreated to her cabin.

Having survived colon cancer herself, actress Susan Flannery had input into her character’s storyline, telling head writer Bradley Bell to make sure Stephanie maintained her sense of humour throughout her deterioration.

Her last ever ep screens at 4:30pm Monday on TEN.

Don’t miss this wonderful farewell video from cast and crew.

  1. May be a major event for Bold but still this show, at least until recently, is fairy floss compared to Days. Still a good achievement after almost 26 years on air.

  2. i’m not a fan of the show but kudos to Susan for sticking with the work commitments of a daily tv show for so long. I can’t really see the show surviving this and Ron Moss leaving, maybe its ‘jumped the shark’?.

  3. Thank you David for posting this clip it really brought a smile to my face and what a wonderful way to send Susan off, from what I have read over the years she is a warm, intelligent, funny women.

  4. you think lung cancer is going to keep her dead? she will be back before you know. the only one who has died and stayed dead is Sally and thats only because the actress who portrayed her died.

  5. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll need a lot of tissues for this episode. For those who can’t say it Monday due to school or work it will be replayed Tuesday at 8.30am.

I hope that past characters will come back for Stephanie’s funeral such as Fabio (on behalf of Sally Spectra), Stephen Logan, Ridge, Nick & Jackie Marone, Bridget Forrester, Owen Knight and Betty White.
