  1. Geez..I wonder if these other races will get the same treatment as tdf..those helicopter shots especially.I admit that’s mainly why I watch road cycling..the reveal along the route..the people, the countryside, the buildings and architecture.

  2. Great to see most of the Classics (including the Monuments) being broadcast on free-to-air! SBS showing everyone how it’s done! Hopefully the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana will be broadcast in full this year too.

  3. The season starts for real tonight with the Tirreno-Adriatico. (on Eurosport).

Keenan was much better working a co-commentator last season. Stops him rattling off obscure stats so much. Ligett and Sherwen are legends, can get a bit repetitive on long stages though.

  4. Great news! It is nice to see a network increasing their live sporting broadcasts rather than decreasing. It is just a shame that we have to put up with the mind-numbing commentary of Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen for Paris-Roubaix… Matt Keenan does a great job… I bet he is a lot less expensive than P&P too.
