Sam Armytage, yet to attend a Farmer Wants a Wife wedding.

If there are any wedding bells from the 2024 season, host Sam Armytage is hoping for an invite this time round.

It’s the TV reality show famous for leading to weddings and baby births -but host Sam Armytage is yet to attend a wedding for any of the Farmer Wants a Wife cast.

“No I haven’t been to one but Clare and Brad (paired in 2023 season) sent me a picture of Baby Roy,” she recently told TV Tonight.

“They’re in Cootamundra and I said to them, ‘I’m going to Yass in a few weeks to see my brother, why don’t you come up and bring Roy up so we can have a cuddle?’ So I think I’ll see Baby Roy soon, so that’ll be cute.

“I love that the boys stay in touch with me. They’re really sweet and when Banjo my dog died recently, a few of them got in touch, sending their love and thoughts, so it’s really nice. I like that they feel like they can do that because I think there’s probably a lot of reality shows where once it ends they don’t speak to the host ever again!

“But I seem to have forged some friendships, so that’s nice.”

Farmer Wants a Wife concludes night Tuesday on Seven.

  1. Sam Armytage seems like such a genuine person. I remember her making my little nephew feel special at a Carols concert once that she was hosting with Sunrise. A small crowd of people were watching them host in a tent, and in the ad break she turned around and acknowledged the crowd and waved at my nephew and smiled at him, Kochie and Nat had their back turned talking but Sam seemed more interested in all of us, very cool.
