In one of its more controversial casting moves Law and Order: SVU tomorrow night guest stars former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson as a murderer on death row.
In 1992 Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison, convicted of the rape of 18-year-old Desiree Washington.
In this episode, a janitor brutally attacks an athletics coach, and the SVU connects his violent behaviour to a history of sexual abuse by someone he trusted. The detectives soon uncover more victims to the same predator, including a prisoner on death row (Tyson). When the truth finally comes out, Detective Benson enlists Bayard Ellis to dig into the case before the looming execution date.

Anyone know why the episodes are being shown out of order? We got episode 16 “Funny Valentine” last week, now we’re getting this episode which is episode13 “Monster’s Legacy” this week. I’m positive that we haven’t had episodes 11 & 12 either. I know we haven’t had 14, 15, 17, 18, or 19 of the other episodes which have aired in the US. I know with a show like this it doesn’t matter but it seems really odd that we went from episode 10 (the last episode I remember airing before it went to repeats) to 16 & now back to 13…
