It’s back! The Devil Wears Prada again.
TEN gives a favourite flick another whirl, but it's been nearly 11 months in between.

It’s been a bit of a running gag around here, so here’s the latest instalment…
The Devil Wears Prada will have its first screening on TEN since Beverley McGarvey became Chief Programming Officer in October.
It will air at 8:30pm Friday June 14.
But in fairness, it will have been nearly 11 months since it last screened and that’s pretty standard in TV land (it should also be noted that Chief Programming Officers don’t usually program movie reruns).
As one can see from the last screenings, TEN has managed to put more space in between the previous lazy-susan programming.

Last October McGarvey told TV Tonight, “I think we don’t currently own any runs on The Devil Wears Prada. We may own one other run but we certainly don’t own multiple runs.
“We’ve had multiple runs but I think we’ve used them now!” she laughed.
“We certainly have no plans now to play it anytime soon. Maybe we’ll wait until people build up and appetite and they miss it again!”
Hmm, Nine has another Harry Potter flick tomorrow. That’s different.

June 2013: 382,000. It went up.
Mr & Mrs Smith would give it a run for it’s money! I swear at one stage is was being shown every other month. And there it is in the TV Week schedule for this Saturday. Then again just because it’s scheduled doesn’t mean that 9 won’t change their mind and pull it for a re-run of something else. In the mean time the new episodes of Mike & Molly (on Go!) continue to appear then drop off the schedule almost immediately, usually replaced by an old Two & a Half men. What on earth is going on over there at nine?
Matthew…Jane By Design was cancelled after one season 🙁
Oh good…because I missed it the million other times it has been on this year.
I think we need to start a similar tally of how often GO repeats Mars Attacks. It was on again the other night, seems to re-appear every couple of months.
Brilliant news I was on the verge of getting my old dvd out to watch this.
Thank you ch10 thank you
Still better than Kath n Kimderella
Love the movie & love the running joke!
GO screens the same movies a couple months or so apart, over and over. that’s worse then what Ten’s doing with Prada.
there should be a listing here of all the times their most frequent movies get played on Nine and Go. I guess Go wanna be a Foxtel type movie channel, for free to air.
7 owns Universal movies now, 10 now own Fox movies now. but 7 have been airing Sony pictures now too, which used to be 9’s, never thought I’d see Spiderman on 7, but there it was… after GO had screened it many times before.
Perhaps this screening of The Devil Wears Prada is to link in with the book release of the sequel…but that would actually require there to be some thought and/or logic to their programming.
11 Months is a lot compared to 7 airing GhostBusters & GhostBusters 2 again after 3 weeks of each of them airing last…..
I have a hideous skirt convention to attend.
Yes, i saw that BTTF went to 7. Poor Ten must be in tears when that news came through.
I could not read this story without laughing the entire way through. I does not seem like an 11 month break.
Back to the Future has gone to 7. Another favourite of 10’s that’s now getting overused elsewhere!
Really had it been that long? It doesn’t feel like it was almost 11 months ago… Guess they thought we were missing it & wondering where it was 😛
At least with Nine repeating HP there are a few of them, & they can add to them as I don’t think they’ve aired the last two
Good Grief!!…..Makes me want to chop up my DVD of it.
The Die Hard franchise is another regular filler for Ten that has popped up again
Well I don’t need to watch this again as I started watching something similar with Jane By Design on FOX8.
HD on One month after next?
The Tango & Cash of the 2010’s (Happy Gilmore was the Tango & Cash of the 2000’s)
Eleven months between screenings isn’t that bad really. I can think of some movies that are screen more frequently than that (yes, that’s you Nine and GO!)
I swear to God I’m 97% certain it also aired in Feburary this year. I remember my groan at the TV and me shouting “but it was on a few months ago!” No?
