The value of multichannels was evident once again after Nine took another ratings week.

Seven ranked first in primary channels but the Ashes series helped GEM to another sizeable share, giving Nine the win.

Nine again won demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Nine won Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Seven took Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday Monday, Friday and Saturday.

The X Factor (Sunday) was the week’s top show with 1.55m viewers.
