Sunday Night update

Seven has scheduled Sunday Night for 8pm this weekend following The X Factor.

2013-08-05_2035This Sunday Seven has bitten the bullet and scheduled The X Factor against the premiere of Australia’s Got Talent on Nine.

X Factor will run for 90 minutes with a Boot Camp episode, but Sunday Night remains on Sunday now at 8pm. Bones follows at 9pm and Castle at 10pm with a double episode.

Of course, we are yet to hear plans for the first political Debate, which will throw a spanner in everybody’s works!

Meanwhile Seven has also scheduled a repeat of Mrs Brown’s Boys next Monday at 9:40pm following Mr Selfridge.

Amended.

  1. The time slot for Sunday Night does not suit me…I really am so over the programming merry-go-round….and not just on Seven.
No wonder my TV is off more often than on, these days.

  2. the promo for bootcamp that aired last night looked really good. 7 obviously planning to go all out promoting it. i think X will have an easy win, especially considering it has an established audience in that slot. AGT’s promos are dagsville 7 battled for 3 years to shake off the daggy feel from 2007-8, now its regressed.

  3. I think that AGT will surprise. X Factor will only be on for a couple of Sundays, unless they move performances to Sunday night.
I will be watching AGT this year due to the cast & host. Because of Grant Denyer previously this was a no go zone.
Seven may as well flog X Factor they don’t seem to have any back up.

  4. This will be very very interesting. AGT head to head with XFactor, and SN head to head with 60Minutes. Also David you meant to say Seven scheduled a repeat of MBB not Nine…

  5. XF will kill any chances of AGT has of succeeding, and sadly declaring the timeslot early has done Nine no favours. Ironically, Seven will likely get their revenge on Nine for last year when The Voice destroyed AGT!
