Revealed “will take viewers behind the headlines as it covers the very best local and international stories” with “interviews, profiles and investigative reports on a wide variety of topical issues.”

Produced by TEN News, it will also feature reports from Brad McEwan and Danielle Isdale plus stories from CBS News as part of the network’s output deals.

EN’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery, said: “The name of Revealed says it all. Our aim is to reveal the heart of stories, to peel back the layers and reveal the in-depth, behind-the-scenes stories that viewers want to see and hear.

“How will we do that? By tapping one of the giants of the global news business, CBS, and our own remarkable talent base at Network TEN. Revealed will be a must-watch for anyone who is interested in news and the news behind the news.”

It will premiere in early September.

  1. @ryano – Smart programming, in as much as TEN hasn’t said where or when. Yes TEN can use any 60 Minutes material that Nine doesn’t want. They have for a long time. When they were a real news station TEN used 60M segments virtually every day in their 6am and 9am News.

  2. Fabulous to see Hugh being given his own project. Thrilled Hamish MacDonald is nowhere to be seen with this show. He is totally overrated and was shoved down audiences throats as Ten’s saviour last year.

  3. Hope it lasts longer than the show with Hamish Macdonald or George Negus.
Danielle Isdale even featured in the Negus show.
Where is Hamish Macdonald by the way? He doesn’t even present the Late News anymore.

  4. So ten is going to move the project again I assume. I think the show might rate better for ten if its on a little later in the night, maybe after the project or before the late news.

  5. Seriously 10 is it going to be as revealing as having Dr Patrick on your news bulletin last night……news should never be a segue to advertise your programmes?

  6. @ David Knox – any indication of a channel/timeslot? It could go head-to-head with ACA or TT by screening on ONE at 6:30pm/7pm. But nevertheless I just hope it doesn’t mean yet another bump to The Project.
