Eyewitness News returns to TEN

Eyewitness News is confirmed as a brand returning to TEN, streaming Live "anywhere, anytime, on any device."

eyewnAs tipped, TEN has confirmed the return of the Eyewitness News brand with Live Streaming of its news “anywhere, anytime, on any device.”

The network rolled out first promos last night.

Eyewitness News first began on TEN in the 1970s, but now with social media, smartphones and tablets, it is ripe for a return.

TEN has tweeted the changes take effect from its 5pm bulletins today.

  1. Isn’t every witness an eyewitness? Tautology much? Plus why mess with the only show on the network that actually rates? Having said all that, I do love this brand so I hope it works for Ten.

  2. I forgot DK mentioned this…do not normally watch much news…just decided to tonight while I had an early supper…
    I liked it…only issue…the logo looks fine…but is still too large.

  3. The branding will only have relevance if they actually pump up the ‘eyewitness’ viewer soured stories angle. They should be employing some social media people to go along with it.

  4. They brought back Young Talent Time, that failed. They brought back It’s a Knockout, that failed.
    Surely they’re running out of concepts from the 70’s to recycle.
