2013-09-07_2217The Footy Show (AFL) Grand Final edition sets its sights on Rod Laver Arena once again, with special guests Bernard Fanning and Birds of Tokyo.

And the unstoppable fan-favourite Player Revue…

It’s an Australian-made music feast with Aussie rock royalty headlining the show. After fronting one of this country’s biggest bands, former Powderfinger singer/songwriter Bernard Fanning makes a rare television appearance to perform two of his classic hits live.

Perth rockers Birds of Tokyo have dominated the charts over the last few years and will have the 12,000- strong audience on their feet with their number one smash Lanterns. And You Am I, one of the top bands from the 90’s, will raise the roof when they reunite for a special one-off medley of their biggest hits.

One of the highlights of the night, the Grand Final Revue, is back and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. All the regulars are performing, plus a host of AFL players making their Revue debut.

The biggest names in the game will form two star-studded panels to tell us who is going to win the flag and why. We relive all of your favourite moments from the year, announce the 2013 winner of Almost Footy Legends, and take a look at the very best of this season’s Street Talk.

  2. Calling Bernard Fanning “Powderfinger” when it’s a solo performance is very misleading!! I got really excited thinking it was a reunion!!! (I know they aren’t your words David 😉 )
