Ten was able to fast-track Under The Dome successfully.
If you have the right show for the Australian market, the right slot and buzz coming out of the US it can work. There are a lot more new shows that have been fast-tracked in October and rated 400k e.g. POI and Sleepy Hollow even though they have been hits in the US.
The fleet review fireworks and video projection on the Sydney opera house was well done. Can totally understand the great ratings it got on the abc.
I don’t think the new fast tracked shows are any better on 7 or 9 so why aren’t people watching the ones on TEN?
