Today in Melbourne for Cup fever

The Today show will stage its annual Cup fever broadcast in Melbourne on Friday, live from Bourke Street Mall.

In attendance will be Karl Stefanovic, Lisa Wilkinson, Georgie Gardner, Ben Fordham, Richard Wilkins, Steve Jacobs, and Richard Reid.

Today will also be giving two lucky viewers the chance to rub shoulders with the stars, with two tickets to Oaks Day in the Lexus Design Pavilion, including transfers to and from the track courtesy of Lexus. And to ensure you look the part, David Jones is throwing in a $1000 voucher. To top it off, the prize includes dinner for two at Neil Perry’s award-winning Spice Temple.

Today continues to dominate in Melbourne in 2013 across all key demographics: People 25-54, 18-49, 16-39 and Total People, increasing its audience year on year and consistently winning the coveted breakfast slot.

Today has been a fixture on Australian television for 31 years since it began in 1982. Hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson, Today broadcasts Monday to Friday from 5.30am, with Weekend Today on Saturdays and Sundays from 7.00am to 10.00am on Channel Nine.
