Got Talent gets the numbers
Ratings: Australia's Got Talent has finally topped the ratings, with 1.39m for The Winner Announced.
For the first and last time this season the Nine show has led the night with 1.39m for The Winner Announced in preliminary figures. The bulk of the show was 1.17m viewers with both beating the average for Dancing with the Stars (1.08m).
Nine Network won the night with a share of 31.6% then Seven 29.2%, TEN 18.4%, ABC 13.7% and SBS 7.3%.
Also for Nine were 60 Minutes (1.28m), Nine News (1.11m), Movie: The Tourist (559,000) and RBT (289,000 in 4 cities).
Seven News (1.17m) was best for Seven then Dancing with the Stars (1.08m) and Just for Laughs (561,000). Castle was 264,000.
Elementary (692,000) topped TEN’s evening followed by Modern Family repeats (611,000 / 554,000), David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities (552,000), TEN Eyewitness News (496,000), The Graham Norton Show (460,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (420,000) and The Simpsons (316,000).
ABC News (809,000) was best for ABC1 followed by Reptilian Battleground (604,000), Luther (437,000), Compass (287,000), Midsomer Murders (272,000) and David Bowie: Five Years in the Making of an Icon (250,000).
On SBS ONE Rome: What Lies Beneath (404,000) did well, then Jackie without Jack (304,000), World News Australia (218,000) and Ewan McGregor: Cold Chain Mission (109,000).
7mate’s movie Beverly Hills Cop led multichannels with 255,000.
