2013-12-03_1243In the penultimate installment of ABC1’s Exhumed it’s time to check how are the Final 6 preparing ahead of next week’s Grand Final.

While the ‘Final 6’ bands are excited to compete for Winner of Exhumed 2013, that doesn’t mean they’re not feeling a little nervous about their upcoming gig at Sydney’s famous Rooty Hill RSL, where they’ll be playing for an audience of nearly 1000 people, and live across the nation on ABC TV!

For some of our band members this will be their first trip to Sydney. For the first time, they see the other bands who made it to the Final 6, and find out who they’re up against. How will they prepare? Are they getting new costumes and haircuts? How will they fine-tune their performances in their final rehearsals before leaving?

James Valentine wants to give the bands one more bit of excitement before they hit the road, and surprises them with an opportunity to record two songs with ABC Music, which will be released as a compilation CD at the Grand Final. So, in the midst of preparing for the Grand Final, the bands load their gear into their utes and vans and head off to the studio.

Thursday December 5 at 8pm, ABC1.
