This year’s NFL Super Bowl sounds just a tad like something out of The Simpsons, but you can catch it all on Monday morning.
The game is between the Denver Broncos (cue Homer: “Ohhh, not the Denver Broncos) and the Seattle Seahawks.
Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (who also performed at the Krusty Gets Kancelled benefit) are halftime show performers.
Opera singer Renée Fleming will sing the national anthem. And not Bleeding Gums Murphy.
Of course with every Super Bowl it’s also always about the super commercials. Over to you, YouTube.
ONE airs this Live around the country at 10am AEDT, preceded by Road To The Super Bowl at 9:30am. It is replayed at 10:30pm on TEN.
“Super Bowl XLVIII- Denver Broncos V Seatte Seahawks”
Join us on ONE for Super Bowl XLVIII as the Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Who will be crowned this season’s champions in one of the biggest sporting events worldwide?
Live 10am AEDT Monday February 3rd on ONE.

Sorry Dave, but I actually find Shoudys comment a bit relevant, didn’t read it as a dig at you personally. Just an opinion…
I’m assuming that ONE will be taking FOX’s US feed of the Super Bowl, not the NFL Network’s world feed of the game?
Have locked it in, while I still don’t know all the rules I still enjoy this spectical. Although there is some concern about the cold weather this year from what I have watched. Male member of the household a big fan he started watching on the ABC when the lovely Don Lane would host it and at half time would highlight a couple of the rules and explain them.
I am not sure but I think he would also host the superbowl edition and show some of the ads which I like seeing also, years ago Budweiser used to have some of the best.
ESPN is holding a superbowl event in Federation Square, if it is any good hopefully they will also do something in Sydney next year.
The road to the Super Bowl is long and pointless. I mean, when you think about it.
I knew this crap was coming up when Today did the usual boring story about the advertisements during the telecast. Why do we have to put up with this year after year? We don’t see the US commercials during the telecast here so why do the local TV bosses find it necessary to tell us that Brand X will pay so many millions for a 30 second spot?
This will mean that the Super Bowl will be shown on the 2nd Feb in the US.
Shoudy I would encourage you to contribute comments that add to the conversation? Not sure just stating facts is really of much value to readers, unless you’re suggesting my stories are incorrect, thanks.
It will also be on ESPN HD for those of us who prefer a more watchable HD picture than what is dished up on ONE.
