Votes open in Bogie Awards

The Sydney Morning Herald has opened voting in its cheeky Bogie Awards, which celebrate “the silliest, the slickest and the sorriest programs, personalities and powerbrokers on the box in the past 12 months.”

This year the categories includes:

Smuggest talent quest judge

Network most contemptuous of viewers

Least real reality show

Most insidious use of breasts to exploit viewers’ base instincts

Most under-rated

Most effable personality

Most embarrassing program

Furthest past use-by date

The Black Bogie (most irritating person)
