Here’s a must see for all TV fanboys – a new series from the Sundance Channel on writing for television called The Writers’ Room.
Screening on ABC1from tomorrow night, the first episode focusses on Breaking Bad as writers discuss the writing process.
Upcoming episodes will feature on Parks & Recreation, Game of Thrones, Dexter, American Horror Story and more.
Panelists: Sam Catlin, Bryan Cranston, Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Gennifer Hutchison, George Mastras, Thomas Schnauz, & Moira Walley-Beckett.
This aired in the US in July.
Breaking Bad has won 10 prime time Emmy Awards but it almost didn’t make it to air. TV addicts everywhere will tell you it’s the story of a terminally ill chemistry teacher who turns to a meth making life of crime to secure his family’s future. Tonight on The Writers’ Room, we meet the people who created one of the most compelling anti-heroes of our time.
Tuesday 8th April at 10pm on ABC 1.

Yep would be interested in this, but I am still waiting on ABC to play the last part of the final season. So will have to give it a miss in case there are spoilers. :-/
Must be about the only person in Australia who doesn’t know how it all ends. 😀
I hadn’t thought of that!
Def interested in watching this. Some really good shows listed there, esp Breaking Bad and GoT.
Breaking Bad is the best TV show I have seen period.
