2014-04-03_0100As Western Australia heads back to the polls this Saturday, SKY News broadcasts Live coverage of the WA Senate Election.

From 8:30am (5:30AM WST)* join SKY News Political Reporter David Lipson for a special Senate election edition of Saturday Agenda.

Throughout the day SKY News Political Reporter Ashleigh Gillon and SKY News Perth Reporter Dan Murphy, will accompany the leading candidates as they cast their votes and make a final pitch to the electorate.

When the polls close at 9pm (6PM WST) our non-stop coverage of the WA Senate Election begins with SKY News Political Commentator, Peter van Onselen, to be joined by SKY News political commentators Graham Richardson and Michael Kroger.

SKY News political reporters will be with party officials and candidates throughout the night as the votes are counted and the makeup of the new look Senate becomes clear.

Throughout the day SKY News Multiview will provide Australia’s most comprehensive coverage of the WA Senate Election. At the touch of the red button, viewers can launch eight simultaneous split screens of video and text including one channel dedicated to the election.

  1. I saw Glenn Druery – the vote go get em guy and preference genius on Richo.Will you have him on the election coverage on Saturday night? ..

  2. I know WA’s population is smaller than a national vote, but I’m pretty sure Senate results take far longer than House of Reps votes to count, because of all the preference flows.

    Are Sky going to get a result before 1 or 2am EST (10 – 11am WST)? If not, what’s the point in watching former pollies and journos speculate for hours?

  3. I think this is the first time, at least in living memory, that Senate results albeit only in WA gets an exclusive coverage.

    Usually Federal election coverages have always looked at results in the House of Representatives with Senate results barely if ever getting a mention.
