I just set my recordings the night before using the times in the EPG, and have never had any issues.
A suggestion for David – perhaps rather than just listing advertised/actual times it would be useful to list advertised/EPG/actual where the information is provided (or to at least pick either advertised or EPG as the benchmark to make fairer comparisons)?
@pahmer
15 minutes that’s risky.
I use 30 minutes and still missed the end of Twelve Monkeys on 72.
I just set the recorder to start at the programmed time and end about 15 mins or so at the end. It’s cheeky that there are late program starts but it’s not a big deal to me.
So with Rove on The Project this is that why it’s ending one time… or is it the return of MC?
That’s why I am giving up watching Channel Nine, especially The Block, The Voice AU and 60 mins. And TV Week Logies started 7 mins late than the expected time.
If nine have shows that start 20 minutes late more frequently then this will be a big issue.
