Having looked at the 1980s, NatGeo will next turn its attention to the 1990s, in the 4 part series, The 90s, narrated by Rob Lowe.
It features over 120 interviews including Monica Lewinsky, Courtney Love, Matthew Perry, Tony Blair, Jason Alexander, Roseanne Barr, Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Colin Powell and more.
The last series on the 1980s was also re-voiced and replayed on Nine.
They are the some of the most memorable faces and characters of a decade marked by political change, technological innovation, and grunge and pop music.
Over four big nights, National Geographic Channel presents the decade’s most unpredictable, unforgettable and unbelievable moments like no one has before.
Among the stories examined are the release of Nelson Mandela, the takedown of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, the rise of grunge and the roller-coaster ride of the Clinton administration.
