Airdate: Undeniable

Next week ABC screens a 2 part miniseries Undeniable, which aired in the UK earlier this year.

Both episodes will air on the same night from 8:30pm Thursday.

As a child Jane Philips (Claire Goose) survived a savage and brutal attack by an anonymous stranger that left her mother dead. The murdered was never found.

Twenty-three years later Jane is happily pregnant with her second child but she still carries the mental scars of that fateful day. Attending an ante-natal clinic at the local General Hospital Jane suddenly finds herself confronted by a man she is adamant killed her mother. Andrew Rawlins (Peter Firth) is in fact an eminent oncologist employed by the Health Trust…the accusation is treated with the contempt it deserves. His daughter Emma (Christine Bottomley) a lawyer is outraged and insists on her father’s innocence.

However Andrew is suspended as enquiries into Jane’s accusations proceed. Certain inconsistencies in both Andrew and Jane’s testimonies cast doubt on the innocence and integrity of each of them.
