  1. The are showing the games in primetime or the middle oft he night on ABC2.

They are showing the early morning games on ABC1 because some people will be up and watching TV. It has a news ticker running over it which is distracting, if people want the news that is what ABC24 is for.

Turkey are big and tough and kept up with the US for half a game. Not sure how we will match up against them.

  2. All FIBA should be on ABC2 including the BBC early morning simulcasts of Doctor Who. But that is not possible as they are locked into 5am starts for ABC4Kids on ABC2 thesedays.

  3. Thanks for posting this article and letting us know when the next few gams are on. I have seen next-to-nothing coverage/articles on this comp in newspapers and other tv sites.

@sfools – I agree. They should have just stuck this on abc2 instead of changing channels every second game. Very confusing.

  4. Why can’t they just broadcast everything on ABC2? switching between ABC1 and ABC2 is really gonna screw up people’s DVR schedules. Mine was all set to record the Australia vs Turkey match on ABC2 until I saw your article.

It’s absolutely ridiculous to think that the ratings figures are gonna be any better in the middle of the night by switching networks.
