US sci-fi series Defiance and Dominion have both been renewed, both of which feature local faces.
Defiance, which stars Grant Bowler, has been picked up for a 13-episode third season, with Kevin Murphy back as executive producer / showrunner.
Syfy’s new series Dominion launched in June to 2 million total US viewers.
The post-apocalyptic series sees an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waging a war of possession against mankind. It stars Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale.
Dominion has been renewed for another 13 episodes.

I was keen to see Dominion as I really enjoyed the movie. The series however was a disappointment. Couldn’t watch after only two episodes.
Awesome news for Defiance. Its a great show and looking forward to seeing more. Any news on Continuum? Haven’t heard anything since the finale back in June.
