  1. Thanks so much David. It will be interesting to see how it goes compared to Please Like Me. I think along with This is Littleton and Backseat Drivers that accounts for all the new comedy aired on ABC2 this year.

    117k is I think a very good result for ABC2 at that time of night.

  2. Sorry David. You are always so supportive of many shows and I should have reworded it to state beside the “author of this post.”

    This is still a must stop blog every morning to get the latest TV news and now I get the weekly wrap on a Friday.

    All I need now is for TV networks to program shows more effectively and show less reality… Small steps 😉

    Thanks again David!

  3. Forgot to mention before – it is also good to see Home and Away performing well in the demo’s.

    @tvf – thank you for expanding on your comment. I’m still not up to scratch using EPG. I still use old style printed TV guides from the Sunday paper. Yes I am also surprised Channel 7 are messing with the screening times and I would prefer they went back to showing H&A 5 nights a week at 7:00pm

  4. @debs

    I was more alluding to the fact that home and away is a show that you would expect to be scheduled the same every week and its surprising that a show that has consistent ratings is played around with so much that it requires a viewer to double check the EPG each week when they shouldn’t have to.

    @nik c

    Home and Away is a consistent performer and doesn’t always get recognised for that.

  5. Thank you David Knott for giving Home and Away recognition – I am a regular viewer.

    @nik C
    I watch Home and Away regularly and pleased to admit it. I quite like this show it’s good escapism and was pleased it won the logie for Most Popular Drama earlier this year.

    @tvf
    We usually use the TV Guide from the Sunday Newspaper (Sunday Telegraph in NSW) and it had Home and Away listed correctly for this week, though on prior occasions it has also been incorrect probably due to late changes by Channel 7.

  6. Little Paris Kitchen and Incredible Spice Men on SBS, I really enjoy….but will watch in catchup along with Madam Secretary….UMB and Its a Date,,,
    I was watching multi channels….7TWO then mostly GEM…
    Oh also need to catch Worlds Richest Dogs….Thursday nights are packed for me.

  7. Would it be possible to know Soul Mates? It’s the first tv show drawn from online content in the country I’m keen to see if it held up it’s second week ratings after opening reasonably well.

  8. @ tvf Are 7 trying to sabotage one of their longest running shows?

    Will anyone else be brave enough to say: Good on Home and Away for rating number one as the top entertainment show!

  9. There was only 30 minutes of home and away last night. Next week there is 1 hour of home and away on both Wednesday and Thursday. These days you have to check the EPG regularly to determine how many episodes of home and away are being aired on a given night.
