The first teaser for Thunderbirds are Go! has been released.

The series, using CGI and live action sets, revives the Tracy family and International Rescue in new adventures.

It will air on GO! in 2015.

Just a tad exciting…

  3. I hope this is done to the specifications of the original puppet version of Thunderbirds. As when Gerry Anderson made the New Captain Scarlet (2005) in CGI, he made the characters more lifelike and without the heads being slightly oversized it took away from what made Captain Scarlet in the first place. so hope that doesn’t happen to Thunderbirds.

    Of course that’s all probably just this old timers love of those shows and to the kids today it probably won’t make much difference and this comment is probably the early stages of me telling them to get off my lawn.

  5. Cool, and looks like Thunderbird 5 has had an upgrade.

    There’s been some concern about the ‘live’ action parts of the series but everything I’ve read so far talks about “voice cast” and being in the recording studio… so sounds like it’ll be voiced over the CGI and “live model” set footage without live acting.

    It’s also been picked it up for a 2nd series already.
