2015-01-31_1943Well this is perfectly hilarious…..

According to News Corp. TEN has snared an original Brady Bunch child star into the cast of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

Could it get any camper (hmm, wait there is supposedly Joel Creasey and possibly Denise Drysdale, I guess so).

TEN’s clues have so far hinted at a “world famous television actress” who is also a household name. Many have assumed that’s Melissa Joan Hart, but could it be Maureen McCormack, Eve Plumb or Susan Olsen? Certainly their characters were household names, coincidentally as a classic TEN sitcom.

TEN is not confirming if it’s true, but will be lovin’ the speculation ahead of tonight’s premiere.

Either way, this is one interview I’ll be hoping to bring you.

  1. I enjoyed it. Mindless fun. I don’t know some of them (Tyson, Laura? , Lauren? ). But that doesn’t matter. Will be fun to see precious petals being tortured, ha!

  3. I thought the celeb were named too early. Maybe have turned some viewers away early. They could have told us about the set up first. But hope it works for ten. I think kids especially will drive parents and families to watch it

  4. Surprised myself by not minding this. Don’t think ill get obsessed but it’s a pleasant alternative to the repetition we’ve had for years. Thought Chris and Julia were excellent as hosts. Were a few glitches, but hope it does well for Ten.

  6. Curious to see who was in it. Well completely underwhelmed……a lot of C listers and some I don’t even know.
    Couldn’t wait to turn over to SBS special about the terracotta warriors.
    One of the intruders is Shane Warne….straight from a Ten employee and friend.
    Not watching again.

  7. I watched it purely out of curiosity as to who the celebs were and found myself watching the whole episode. I will dip in an out I think. I thought it unnecessary the process of elimination they used for the audience voted tucker challenge at the end. It didn’t work. They said that there was a 1hr live stream available after the show which I would’ve had a look at but since the windows phone tenplay app is still broken I couldn’t.

  8. I’ve said before I’m over reality TV but my family have been hanging out for it. It was great entertainment. My kids are teen and pre-teen and they and all their friends know The Brady Bunch. I suspect a hit.

  11. Well it is Maureen McCormack guys. And many of the other ‘celebs’ recognised her immediately.
    Chrissy was bowled over.

    Sad to see the ‘TV legend’ who has appeared on 4 different networks is not Denise Drysdale, Rove McManus or Kerri-Anne Kennerly. It is Andrew Daddo.

    Not sure if he is a ‘legend’ though. Disappointed actually.

  16. Eve Plumb has denounced the Brady Bunch for decades now. She is almost a recluse shunning the spotlight for years.

    McCormack is probably the likely one – but I thought Melissa Joan Hart was a shoo in.

    Denise Drysdale is TV royalty but the clues imply the ‘celeb’ has been on four different networks and Kerri-Anne Kennerly fits the bill nicely.

    Yes Ten has done an excellent job keeping the celebrities secret for so long.

    Compare this to My Kitchen Rules where Seven has bombarded us with promos since October and every few seconds during the tennis this past fortnight. Everyone knows who the contestants are already and there is not one of them that is remotely interesting. The two posh tarts from South Yarra are obviously the two token bitches that the series has every year and I will be avoiding the entire series once again. Will sneak a peek at the IACGMOOH tonight though…

  18. @mistaken I agree, congratulations Ten for keeping this all under wraps till launch day. Regardless on who the celebrities are you must be commended on a great PR campaign of fuelling the speculation. You have achieved a rare feat in this tech age.

    David – have you done a list of guesses against the clues given? Would love to see them if not posted already.

  23. If it was any of them, I’d predict Maureen McCormack (Marcia). She’s done Celebrity Fit Club and seems the one most willing to live in the Brady shadow. It will sadly be a pull for me to watch, love the Brady’s

  25. Ten is to be congratulated for successfully keeping the identity of the participants under wraps, no easy feat. Not a single celebrity has been confirmed, there has only been a lot of speculation especially by those supposedly in the know. Well done Ten.

    My money is on Chrissie Swan, Stephen Bradbury and Andrew Symonds. Rumours that Charli Robinson and Melissa Joan Hart are both participants seem to be well off the mark. Charli was still on the Gold Coast yesterday and Melissa is still in the US.
