  1. Season 7, the final season, has 13 episodes. In the US, episodes 12 (“Brown Shag Carpet”) and 13 (“White Orchid”) the last 2 episodes were shown as a double episode finale. These aired in the USA on 22nd February 2015. Anyone’s guess when or if Nine will shown then anytime soon since they no longer give a toss about any programming beyond NRL football and reality TV programmes “The Block”and “Big Brother”. I gave up a month ago and watched the whole season direct from the USA via a VPN.

  2. I gave up on Nine a few weeks back when they shoved in yet another repeat of “Big Bang Theory”. Created a VPN the next day and have now caught up on most of the episodes available in the USA (to ep 17) and also the whole season of the final season of “The Mentalist”. We will purchase the DVDs to complete our collection when they are released in Australia. I get a warm and fuzzy feeling that Nine Network they have alienated us as viewers for the last time for they have put the final nail in the coffin as far as our family is concerned. My business used to be a big advertiser on the Nine Network about a decade ago. I wouldn’t want to be one now because of the cavalier way they treat their viewers and advertisers now. They may as well just show NFL and reality shows and nothing else because I don’t know of many people who are watching now. .We have Stan. and Netflix Australia (next…

  3. I gave up on watching POI on Nine ages ago – was recording repeats in HD on GEM for a while – which were at least on at a regular time. Now, being a season or so behind I’ll just wait to catch up with the seasons on DVD or BluRay.

  4. There are 11 eps in S4 left.

POI hasn’t been cancelled yet. It’s not rating that well but WB will want to keep it alive to boost syndication revenue and keep Abrams happy, and CBS needs some late slot drama so they could do a deal for a 5th season. Or it could get a 1/2 season to wrap up as a mid season filler like The Mentalist. Or it could be cancelled.

Nine didn’t launch POI well (late slot, too many fast tracked premieres that week in Oct). When they built up the audience over summer and gave it a regular timeslot at 9:30pm Monday and it was doing 640k there. But it skewed older male so got bumped to later and moved all over the place.

Now they dump the new eps because they don’t meet Nine’s targets, replace it with repeats because they are free, then they end up just burning off the new eps later after they have pissed off all the fans. This is getting more annoying…

  5. Person of Interest back on Mondays how good is it? Elementary (Ten), Sleepy Hollow (Eleven) and Monday week Supernatural (Eleven), the boys are back. Production series 10 wraps on 21APR15

  6. So frustrating what 9 keep doing with this show & the Mentalist. It came back a few weeks ago with 1 ep then disappeared. It’s the last season, wish they’d just get it over & done with & show them all. There mustn’t be many episodes left.
