With no sign of either MKR or The Block last night there was a bit of a shake-up in the numbers.
Just one show ranked over a million viewers with Home and Away as the top entertainment show of the night. But Seven’s new Thursday line-up was beaten by Nine’s, and it landed third in the demos after TEN performed well with key demos.
Gogglebox ended its season with its best audience this year on 594,000 and topping all key demos.
In the end Nine network won the night with 28.6% then Seven 27.4%, TEN 20.5%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 7.0%.

Seven News (921,000 / 868,000) was best for Seven followed by Home and Away (709,000), Australia: The Story of Us (653,000), Downton Abbey (640,000) and Million Dollar Minute (512,000). State of Affairs was just 193,000.

That’s pretty good for Poh & Co, no? I was trying to locate the numbers for the first two episodes but don’t think it was in the top 20 in either week.
Great results for Gogglebox considering it was played on foxtel with approx at least 300 thousand the night before.
I would say Gogglebox will be back in second half of the year. Along with Shark Tank, the two local successes to Ten’s lineup. Our Girl flopped badly, wasn’t that great IMO.
Gogglebox already confirmed for later in 2015, I published this on Wednesday.
The first half of Our Girl was overly long and poorly written. It picked up bit for the basic training, but that was 14 weeks crammed into little time. It wasn’t great. Poldark a big budget historical drama that’s a remake of a hugely popular show failing to find an audience on Sunday nights is more of worry for the ABC.
I guess we can expect more murder mysteries, they are still pulling 1m with the +7s.
