Not quite sure about the significance of her hooded backing band but Malta’s Amber gives her all to Warrior, a traditional Eurovision entry.

Amber – Warrior (Malta) (Eurovision Song Contest: Second Semi Final)

Amber is only 23 but she is already a Eurovision veteran. She has competed in Malta’s Eurovision Song Contest national selection five times, finally winning the contest for 2015. And she actually performed at the Eurovision final in Baku in 2012, as a backing singer for Malta’s entrant that year, Kurt Calleja.

Amber was a keen student of judo as a youngster, obtaining a Green Belt before an injury forced her to quit at the age of 15. Since then she’s put her competitive energy into music, gaining success in local talent shows.

Amber’s number one passion is music and her dream is to secure a recording contract and perform in other countries.

  1. Nothing bad against Amber and her song but Malta has very likely a pacts on the jury side with, for example with Armenia, Montenegro, Azerbaizan. Malta has very most likely been doing agreement behind the scenes with other countries for many years, already in Eurovision 2002, they were accused of cheating in the jury. All jurymember should vote independently in the contest and all countries according the rules in the contest
