Media presenter Glenn Wheeler has spoken to 2GB’s Ben Fordham to thank fans for their support.
Wheeler, well-known for his Morning Show work, was left in a coma in January following an horrific scooter accident that severed an artery in one leg and caused bleeding on the brain, amongst other significant injuries.
Speaking delicately to Fordham, Wheeler demonstrated the recovery is still a long process, but was in good spirits.
“I want to say hello and I love you to all the 2GB… 4BC…. 2BC…3AW… 2CH (listeners),” he joked.
“I love what I do. If there’s one thing you can do, and do well in life, it’s media.”
Best wishes for further recovery.

Wonderful news for a wonderful guy. We are all behind Glenn as he makes a remarkable recovery from a terrible accident. Can’t wait to hear him back on the tele and radio.
I’ve always liked him. Sending him best wishes.
