ABC has confirmed its line-up for Monday’s edition of Q & A.

There are no cancellations to the panel which was announced at the end of last Monday’s show.

Parliamentary Secretary Alan Tudge, described as “one of the PM’s right hand men” is confirmed to appear, despite other Liberals suggesting they should boycott the ABC show.

Here is the ABC release:

Physicist Lawrence Krauss is the world’s foremost expert on the origins of the universe.
Tim Wilson is a committed defender of freedom of speech and personal liberty.
Parliamentary Secretary Alan Tudge is one of the PM’s right hand men.
Counter-terrorism expert Dr Anne Aly says we need to turn former radicals into our best defence against terrorism.

They’ll join Tony Jones Live on the Q&A panel, along with the Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tanya Plibersek and the Executive Director of the Menzies Research Centre, Nick Cater.

9:35pm Monday in ABC and iview. (I’d also suggest Media Watch will probably be addressing this week’s fallout directly before it).

  1. It would be interesting to know the ratings for Q&A in recent months, the ABC need this public forum to highlight their socio-political credentials.

  2. I love the bit about the IPA Brandis plant on the human rights commision little Timmy a committed defender of free speech and personal Freedom who are they kidding, the only freedom little Timmy is committed is supporting the anti wind farms idiots.
He certainly spoke up when the head of the Commission was being dragged through the politicial mud by Abbott/Brandis and assorted News Ltd hacks(you cant call stenographers journalists) he is a joke.

  3. Parliamentary Secretary Alan Tudge, described as “one of the PM’s right hand men”

That makes him sound like he helps Tony into his budgie smugglers!

      1. “Right hand man” – as he’s described on several MPs’ websites. (right-hand man – noun – an indispensable helper or chief assistant.) As John Howard said on Q&A ” Isn’t it a great country that allows this kind of exchange to occur and this is not the sort of exchange that would occur in other countries and in dictatorships”.

      2. Wawasjohn”So this is ok to say? Wow”

Yep, apparently it is okay to say anything about the PM as long as the PM is a Liberal…..you would hardly have expected that comment to have remained up if the PM was still Gillard

  4. Their not going to boycott a show like this, no heads will roll and it will slowly go away with a report quietly released in a few months and some minor slaps on the wrist.
