  1. I can’t wait for the usual badly-rendered image of something that looks almost totally unlike Grant Denyer to appear on a scratch-it. And, like the old joke about politicians on stamps, will people be confused about which bit to scratch out?

As for puzzle books, on a recent trip ‘doon sooth’ I was intrigued by all the various AFL club-themed puzzle & colouring-in books found in newsagents (in remainder bins mostly). There was even a “Where’s Wally?”-styled Hawks book, where you could spend hours trying to find Luke Hodge in the crowd at the ‘G.

    You AFL-state folks are weird… 😉

  2. They are scratchies for little old ladies with a couple of spare dollars in their purse. I don’t think FF is trying to align itself with gambling as you try to negatively state Mr Knox.

As for the puzzle book, most likely a harmless publications like That’s Life where you solve puzzles to win prizes. Sounds like fun, thanks for letting me know.
