Olivia Phyland, folk music artist and former ABC3 presenter, will join Scott Tweedie on ELEVEN’s music show The Loop.

She replaces Ash London who departed in April, and becomes the second ex-ABC presenter on the show.

“Listening to my favourite songs, interviewing industry icons and being able to bounce off my good mate Tweedie, is the ultimate dream job,” she said.

Co-host Scott Tweedie said: “I’m super pumped to work with Liv. She not only loves her music, but she is a talented musician as well.

“Aussies are going to love watching this bright and bubbly presenter talk all things music.”

She makes her debut tomorrow, Saturday, July 11, at 9.00am on ELEVEN.

  1. Look – it’s no Video Hits, the Network should definitely invest a bit more into this show, it could be a huge opportunity to engage with social/online audience… For what it is it’s great for my families Saturday morning.
As for Tweedie – He gets my vote for a prime time slot soon.
    Goodluck to Liv.

  2. Our house loves Scotty!!! I pencilled him in to be doing prime-time a year ago… Would be fun to bring back a show like Surprise Surprise or Aussie Punk’d for adults.

  3. I tune in most Saturday mornings when I can. Tweedie has been doing a great job on his own. Easy on the eye too… Hopefully she can bring something new to the table.
Is Ten just using this as a talent grooming show as well as a music show?
