New Head of Editorial at SBS Online
Ben Naparstek, departing editor of Fairfax Media’s Good Weekend, to oversee SBS websites.

SBS has appointed Ben Naparstek, departing editor of Fairfax Media’s Good Weekend, as its new Head of Editorial, Online and Emerging Platforms.
He will be responsible for the overall editorial strategy for the SBS online network, commissioning and acquiring content, and overseeing the development, production and publishing of content.
Marshall Heald, Director of TV and Online, says: “We’re thrilled to have Ben come on board in this important role as we continue to push the boundaries and explore new ways to bring SBS content to life online, and deliver on our Charter in new and innovative ways. Ben brings some impressive experience to the position, as well as a clear commitment to producing high quality content and finding new ways to engage with audiences in a competitive media landscape. We welcome him to the team.”
Naparstek says: “While I’m sad to leave Fairfax, I’m thrilled to be joining an organisation that’s at the cutting edge of digital innovation while serving the nation’s diverse communities with first-rate journalism. He was with national politics and culture magazine, The Monthly, prior to his three and a half years at Good Weekend.

Your first job is to fix sbs on demand on pc’s. The recent update has made that website unusable.
Also can you work on content on sbs catch up site being consistant across all devices. Shows that are available on sbs on demand on pcs are not available on sbs on demand on my windows phone. When I was having trouble watching shows on the crap new pc site I didn’t have the option to use my windows phone app because the show I wanted to watch wasn’t available. Examples of shows available on sbs on demand pc site and not available on sbs on demand windows phone are orphan black, brooklyn nine nine, rectify.
