The mystery is solved, Oprah Winfrey is headed back to Australia in December for a speaking tour in arenas.
Each night, up to 15,000 fans will attend a 90 minute audience in a format that Winfrey remarkably described as “one of the most intimate gatherings I have experienced”.
Winfrey last visited Australia in 2010.
“I didn’t have the chance to fully embrace it because I was with 320 other people, there were 20 camera crews, there was an itinerary a mile long,” she tells News Corp.
“So the opportunity to do what I most love, that is to sit in gathering spaces and talk to women about things that I know they value and I value as important wasn’t really high on my agenda.”
The tour kicks off in Melbourne on December 2 before Adelaide (December 4), Perth (December 7), Brisbane (December 10) and Sydney (December 12).
On Thursday Nine screens Oprah Down Under: The Next Adventure.
