Former English Cricket Captain Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff and winner of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is heading back to TEN for summer.
From November 23 he will appear as a guest panellist on The Project and will join the commentary team for the Big Bash League from December 18 alongside Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Damien Fleming and Mark Waugh for 13 matches.
Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar said: “We look forward to having Freddie bring his unique brand of relaxed and irreverent humour to The Project, but he should know that he will never be forgiven for what he did to us in the Ashes.”
Flintoff said: “I’m so thrilled that Australia has welcomed me with open arms. I look forward to being all grown-up on The Project desk with my cricket tragic friends Carrie, Pete and Waleed.
“The KFC Big Bash League is a great game for players and fans alike and Network TEN has pulled together an impressive commentary line-up of Aussie cricket legends. I’m looking forward to joining them in the commentary box again.”

Andrew Flintoff is a fantastic bloke on commentary and will look forward to listening to him during this summer
As soon as i saw Adam Gilchrist on The Project and then Andrew Flintoff i knew they were there to promote the BBL. It will be intreaguing whether the WBBL actually gets a similiar kind of promo on The Project.
He’s a very likeable guy but his accent means viewers will have to listen harder to figure out what he’s saying.
