Returning: Grey’s Anatomy

Season 12 begins next Monday night on Seven.

Season 12 of Grey’s Anatomy is now confirmed for Monday nights on Seven.

The show returns at 10pm next Monday October 19th. This premiered in the US late last month.

The season will take place three months after the events of the last season finale. New Zealander Martin Henderson will make his series debut later in the season.

Premiering next Monday at 10pm, the new season of Grey’s Anatomy finds a widowed Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) moving back into her mother’s old house and gaining two new flatmates – half-sister Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and sister-in-law Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) which sets the stage for plenty of fresh drama. Meanwhile, Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) are living together in a new loft; exes Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will each date new women; Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia will continue to hook up; and a back-from-the-Army April (Sarah Drew) will refuse to give up on her marriage to Jackson (Jesse Williams). “There’s lots and lots of romance,” creator Shonda Rhimes promises. “And too many people having sex.”

  1. Thanks David!
I will have to see if Thailand show finishes, Murder is bumped back after Greys or something else!
I do wonder how long it will be on air for? I assume it will be yanked at the start of non ratings, rather than show part one of season 12 to early Dec as in the U.S
(I think trying to embrace the U.S. season for existing shows makes sense, I understand being a couple of weeks behind due to no eps with Thanksgiving etc. Here’s hoping 7 listen and then when they return in Feb we can still be a couple of weeks and not have to endure burning off of Double eps)
