The Principal: trailer

SBS has released a longer trailer for its upcoming drama The Principal (see review) which begins next Wednesday at 8:30pm.

Matt Bashir’s new appointment as Principal of notoriously violent Boxdale Boys High ruffles the feathers of the burnt-out staff, as his radical reforms are met with cynicism. He doesn’t fare much better with the students, who predict he won’t last a week.

Just as it seems like he’s making some progress a student is found dead on school grounds.

The murder and subsequent police investigation threaten Bashir’s fledgling reforms, his support from staff and even his resolve.
