Viewers have praised Studio 10 for a a breast self-examination demo which included a topless life model.

Viewers have praised Channel 10 for a segment on Studio 10 today which demonstrated a breast self-examination, and included a topless life model.
The show included advice of nudity before the segment began, but executive producer Rob McKnight told News Corp when doing something as important as this, the nudity becomes secondary.
“Of course, you have to think twice about it because it’s unusual, but you can’t do a breast exam without breasts and we believed we needed a practical demonstration. I believe the people of Australia are mature enough to accept the fact that in order to do a breast exam, we need to show naked breasts.”
Self-examination volunteer Mia, who was also praised by viewers, is a life drawing model and offered her services free of charge.
According to the McGrath Foundation, one in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85.

Did they show how men can check themselves for breast cancer?
When will they show a testicular cancer check for men?
We certainly did. I explained that it was the same technique and blokes should consider the same screening periodically too. 1/719 Australian blokes will get breast cancer.
A quick rating/social media tracking stunt to attract viewers, masking as a serious issue (which it is) but publicity stunt 101 but very well exectuted.
I personally believe this was done with genuine intentions. I think they were trying to do something good. But even if you’re right, who the hell cares? If only 1 woman sees it and checks her breasts (when she wouldn’t have done before) and that saves her life… then does it really matter?
Hats off to Studio 10, this is the kind of TV that needs to be seen…. #Kudos
