The series, which has already been recommissioned for a second series, has won rave reviews in the UK.
Starring Suranne Jones (Scott and Bailey) and Bertie Carvel (Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell) Doctor Foster tells the story of a woman seemingly in control: she is a trusted GP, the heart of her town, a woman people can trust. But Doctor Gemma Foster’s life is about to explode: when she suspects her husband is having an affair she is determined to find out the truth.
She throws herself into an investigation that is going to propel her, her family and even some of her patients, into chaos. Bit by bit, Doctor Foster uncovers secrets that shock her to the core. Now she has to choose how to react. One thing is certain – she is going to behave in ways she could never have imagined.

Really looking forward to watching this. I’ve heard great things from my friends and family in the UK. BBC First has had some cracking shows this year.
I agree. BBC First has been the channel of the year, in my opinion.
