Really want to see this one: The Wiz Live!, starring Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, Shanice Williams, David Alan Grier, Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley and more.

They will have a hard time topping some sequences in the original film, such as Emerald City and Evilene, directed by Sidney Lumet. But the film also missed the tone of the stage production, turning it into a melodrama with Diana Ross too old as Dorothy.

Did anybody ask Ms. Ross to make a cameo for this?
