Ahead of its anticipated reboot, The X-Files has released the first minute of its new series.

But don’t expect a lot from http://www.doyoustillbelieve.com/

It’s only backstory from Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) to bring newbies up to speed.

  1. The point is that most of the ET part of this show has already been explained anyway especially in the X File movies, which I suspect at the time was supposed to finalise a closure for fans. Both stars went their own way especially Duchovny who as one of he highest paid TV actors of the time saw grandeur in other things. Apart from Gillian Anderson who does well in the UK, X Files is an resurrection of a few careers, especially X File creator Chris Carter.

  2. I think they did a good job of explaining things in about a minute. It suggests that the new eps can be watched without seeing the previous series. I’ve given up watching the selected episodes on one after a storyline ran across 2 episodes and they only showed part one.
