On Sunday SBS 2 premieres Fameless, a comedy prank show that tests how far people will go for a chance to become famous.

The TruTV show is also at the centre of a legal spat between comedian Krista Allen and David Spade, with Allen suing him for $1M claiming he stole the concept from her idea, Frauditions.

Each week, the series features a group of unsuspecting wannabe stars who believe they’ve been cast on a reality show. However, unbeknownst to them, they are really filming a parody with improv actors creating over-the-top scenarios that steadily increase the absurdity and ridiculousness of each situation – testing the patience of everyone NOT in on the joke.

Episode One: Naked and Annoyed
In the series premiere, a guitarist and karate master nearly come to blows at an audition, a wannabe cop gets lured into a high-speed chase down memory lane, and a fierce competitor learns the naked truth: that this is actually a prank show.

8:30pm Sunday on SBS 2.
