Airdate: You’re Back in the Room

Nine has confirmed new entertainment show You’re Back in the Room premieres Sunday, April 3rd at 7pm. The date represents the return of official ratings after the Easter break.

The UK format sees the primetime return of Daryl Somers, joining hypnotist Keith Barry.

Contestants in this truly hypnotic game show will have the opportunity to win big, but pocketing the cash will be anything but easy.

Standing between them and their fortune will be their own subconscious thoughts, because in You’re Back in the Room each contestant will be hypnotised by world-renowned hypnotist, Keith Barry.

Barry will put them through a series of crazy games where tasks need to be completed in order to win a maximum cash prize of $20,000 for their team.

After he has messed with their subconscious is when the fun really begins. Mayhem ensues as the contestants lose all inhibitions, making for the funniest television you’ll see all year.

The cash pot accumulates throughout the show before the contestants attempt to win as much as possible in a fast-paced final where they’ll have to work harder than ever to overcome their hypnotic hindrances.

I know a lot of people have been bagging it out, but I’m really looking forward to this show. It looks like it will be really funny.

  2. I saw this promo for YBITR and a few contestants threw some kind of food towards the audience (not sure if it is). It was really disgusting.

  3. This show belongs in the rubbish bin not on a Sunday night in primetime. I’ll give it 1 week & it will get shoved to 9GO! (hopefully it just goes away)

  4. No way a second episode is ever going to air on their main channel. In fact, it’ll be a miracle if the first episode is ever shown. The only way to improve it is to add an ostrich and a duck.

  5. This is a fantastic idea. They obviously saw the massive popularity of the show Mesmerised on Channel 7 late last year that they could create the same sort of show and get an even bigger audience. Awesome thinking.

  6. Secret Squïrrel

Two day’s earlier and it would have been a joke. Now it’ll just be a tragedy. A second season of AGT is starting to look like a good idea.

  7. I have a feeling the programmers will be “Back in the Room’ the following morning looking for a replacement show to fill it’s time slot after shocking ratings.
