Gristmill recognised with Film Vic award

Upper Middle Bogan & Little Lunch producers are recognised for their contribution to Victorian screen culture.

Comedy producers Gristmill have received the 2016 Greg Tepper Award in recognition of their achievements in film and television production and their contribution to Victorian screen culture.

Gristmill’s bustling local production includes children’s series Little Lunch, feature film Now Add Honey and an upcoming third series of Upper Middle Bogan, which is has also has a CBS commissioned pilot.

In other Film Vic news, screenwriters Trudy Hellier and Elise McCredie have been selected to attend the CineStory Foundation 2016 TV / Digital Retreat in Idyllwild, California. Both writers will be working on a specific narrative television project during the retreat, which will include participating in a simulated “writer’s room”, one-on-one mentoring and seminars covering industry skills such as pitching.
