Let’s be clear on this. “Gogglebox” is a TV show where we watch people watching TV?
And some TV execs thought this would be entertaining?
John Logie Baird would be spinning in his grave if he knew his wonderful invention was being used for this garbage.
The most disturbing thing about this is that apparently some thousands of people actually like it. The world is becoming a sad, sad place.
But what’s that John Logie Baird assumption based on? How do we know he wouldn’t be marvelling at how versatile it has become?
A fair comment, we don’t.
Its just my way of expressing complete dislike of so-called reality TV.
“Gogglebox”, “The Kardashians”, “Real Housewives” and the like are not my choice of viewing.
Anyway David thanks for a great website where we are free to offer our opinions.
