US comedy Broad City, created by and starring Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, is coming to ABC2 this week.
The 2014 series co-produced by Amy Poehler has already played on Pay TV.
Broad City chronicles the story of best friends Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer as they try and navigate their twenties living in New York City. Despite having little to no money, Abbi and Ilana aren’t afraid of humiliation or sticky situations, and both take a no holds barred approach to life in the big smoke.
Co-founded and co-produced by comedic legend Amy Poehler, Broad City is unapologetic and jam-packed with both laughs and guest stars.
Episode 1: What a Wonderful World
When Ilana finds out about a secret, pop-up Lil Wayne concert, she and Abbi hustle their way through New York City to scrape together enough money for tickets. No matter how creepy it gets, the girls keep their eyes on the prize.
Thursday May 5 at 10pm on ABC2.
